» read moreOn 16 May 2011 the latest edition of „on track“ will be published. Target groups are students of agricultural sciences and engineering and students of agricultural colleges and schools for agricultural technology.
Themes of the current issue include:
- Bachelor graduates are facing the “Master” issue: Right to work or further studies? “on track” discussed with students of the Universities for Applied Sciences in Rendsburg, Cologne and Hohenheim.
- What happens if the junior is coming to the farm after studying? An example shows that the experiences are fertile for operations and influence decisions positively.
- Career in Finland: Pamela Engels (31) has lived eight years in Finland. She coordinates the website of the tractor manufacturer Valtra.
- Hendrik Schulze Zumkley tests a new force measuring system for tires and agricultural machinery for his graduation. He is working with manufacturers Goodyear, Fendt and Kistler-Igel.
- AGRITECHNICA: Freya von Rhade (27) is project manager for a year. “on track” spoke to her about her tasks and the challenges involved in organizing this major agricultural engineering event.

In addition to the project, we offered our editorial staff participants a seminar day with an interesting vocational training. After a writing exercise last year, we have put journalistic photography in this year´s focus. We were glad to win Bernd Beuermann as a teacher who gave valuable tips to the participants in terms of portrait, group and machine photography.
